kid-epic asked: Well said about martial arts in the Serra/Lytle photo that you reblogged from me. Just curious, how did Martial Arts save your life if you don't mind me asking?
I do not mind you asking at all.
Martial arts saved my life because when I was a young child I was kinda like most of other small children. Ya know, Loud, kinda annoying, attentive. But I was a little bit worst. I would literally try to hurt my mother and father to get them to notice me, If I wanted something I was determined to get it. Stealing hurting others crying horribly obnoxiously. I was a mess. A true out of the line kid, possibly in need of super nanny. But I was around 3rd or 4th grade and I wanted to join boy scouts. But my mother enrolled me at the local martial arts school. From my first class I absolutely loved it. Of course in the beginning I was still a little obnoxious but it was soon taught to me that if I wish to receive attention, I must earn it. So I did a complete 180 and soon rebuilt my relationship with my mother and father. My social anxiety I had disappeared and I was ten fold more confident in myself. It has now been 10 years now since my times and I don’t see myself doing anything else but martial arts. I feel like if i had not found it, I truly would of been in jail or buried underground. Martial arts saved my life in every aspect.
This is pretty heart warming picture. Its nice to see that not all GIGANTIC stars are not all stuck up. Some people truly love the people they preform for.

A thing most people wouldn’t understand about these so called “Blood Thirsty” Fighters. Most of them are truly martial artist and have a world of respect for the other man they see across the cage. They know they put in hours and hours of hard training just for that person across the cage. They know there is no way out. Nothing to do but to lay everything you have and hope that in those short few minuets that you happen to be best that night.

So with Ben hendersons new title win, there is controversy over who get their shot. Should it be a rematch against Anthony Pettis? Or a immediate rematch with Franki Edgar? Should be interesting.

I believe one magical thing that all martial artist experience is that inside them in which they know if they really wanted something, all they had to do is put their mind into it. If it hurts and needed it then put our mind away from our body to endure what we need to achieve what we want most in life. Mind over matter. With enough drive, anything is possible

Gotta say out of all the martial arts techniques there are out there. My favorite is still one of the more basic. A Round-house kick. So powerful and when its done just right, one of the most beautiful.

My sword I won in NAGA :D. Don’t ask me why they were giving out swords for 1st place winners in a grappling competition but eh, the thought that matters.

Hey everyone!
Sorry I have not been on lately, a lot going on and getting sidetracked. Working on hard on my martial arts every day! But on a good note, I have won my NAGA tournament! So I am Tampa bays light heavyweight teen Intermediate no-gi Champion! :D So I’m pretty happy about that. But I also have a kickboxing and another grappling tournament on March 31st. Time to get training right away again.
